So what did she expect,
Flowers and red candles lit,
Fruit and wine, a sexy man?
Love given admirably?

In soothing pretty bubbles,
Flowers she bought stare at her,
As if in deepest sympathy
While candles mourn her atrophy.

With no one she truly trusts,
No sharpened knife to harvest,
Forbidden fruits far from reach,
Stuck in righteous rationality.
Alone again naturally,
Not knowing how to sample,
Fruit she'd planted on a whim,
Sizing up her big full plate,
Where they'd try to fit in casually.
Alone again naturally,
Drunk on homemade wine gone bad,
Regretting what could've been,
Trapped in paralyzed stupor,
Right brain seeks creative strategy.
Alone again naturally,
Without a sexy lover,
To hold her tight and love her,
Awaken latent passions,
Cancel out romantic bankruptcy.
Alone again naturally,
She vows to control her life,
Clean up business not done,
Find richer love, get good marks,
Practice loving well, unnaturally.
