"Don't look at me like that."
She looks on in sadness, unable to do more.

He looks to his feet, giving up because He feels there is nothing more that He can do.
He is helpless.

The words burrow beneath Its skin. We can't force change, We can't stop the emotion.
"Go ahead, run." She, He, It, tells the self.
"Run away, it is all that you can do. Run and push as hard as you can. Split the muscles and break yourself in two. It is the only way . . .
Through busted veins And bleeding temptations . . ."
