Yes , I drive a truck for a living, and Im sure you've all heard the stories of what happens out there on the interstates. But I drive locally, less than 2% of my time is ever spent on the open road. Those stories belong mostly to longhaul or over the road, truckers.
When you drive in the city and suburbs you dont get the luxury of having a car and its passengers alongside for miles, doing who knows what. But I do have a tale that just happened today.
I was running loads out to the dump in my International 7400 dump when a silver Chrysler Sebring convertible came along side. I caught a glimpse of her as she sped past. If I could have floored it to go alongside of her, I would've done it. She never got more than 5-6 cars ahead of me then when 2 miles up at nearly the last intersection before I'd have to turn off, I pulled along side of her.What a cutie she was.
As I got close I could see she was looking up towards me. Of course I dont want to look like a total douchebag when I pull alongside so I wait til Im idling and I glance over. When I saw those big brown eyes all I could do was give her a small wave. She rested her right foot on the seat and a smile appeared on her face, so I waved again, her smile even bigger. It was then when she blew a kiss up towards my cab, I was floored. When I winked and smiled at her, giving her one more big wave, she let out a giant giggle.
It was loud enough that her mother turned around,"Amy, are you flirting with those big trucks again?"
I looked at her "Nahhhhhh, we were just discussing the weather" Her mom said " Oh she luvs trucks and you drivers are always so nice and wave at her back there in her seat" she laughed just as the light turned green and they sped off.
Amy was the most adorable 2year Id guess. And no, this isnt going to turn into some dirty story, but I bet alot of you thought it was when you started reading it....didnt ya??? GOTCHA LOL
