This story began as an attempt to show an example of infatuation, but then I decided to include as many examples of differing emotions as I could. That turned out to be more difficult than I thought, due partly to the need to make it all plausible, and also the fact that I'm not that great of a writer. I also had time constraints because I had to write it at work. I doubt many of you who read these chapters recognized what I was attempting to do. Hopefully now it will make more sense to you. I realize this is not the correct forum for a story like this, but once I started I had to finish it. For those few of you who bothered to read all of it, I thank you.
Of all of the emotions that I included here, you may wonder why I didn't include the most obvious, love. The reason is because I don't believe that true love can happen in just a few days. Infatuation, yes, and infatuation does feel like love when it happens, but infatuation can dissipate into nothing fairly quickly in the right circumstances. If you have ever been infatuated with one person one day, and two weeks later infatuated with another, you know what I mean.
