When we first met it was all so new
I was nervous and scared but you saw me through.
Your eyes and smile and beautiful face
I knew right away, I was in the right place.
My life had been filled with such grief and sorrow,
I often wondered would there be a tomorrow.
Then when we met, God gave you to me
To fill me with love and set me free.
As you touched my lips, my arms, my face
I knew I would melt with your warm embrace.
You taught me again how it felt to love
and for this I thank the stars above.
Although we were strangers and both curious
our love-making that night was fast and furious
and though we were strangers it was simple to see
that I needed you and you needed me.
Although our love has lasted for years
I still find it hard to fight back the tears.
Because our love might be a sin
it's simply true, you're still married to him.
And though, my love, we are miles apart
Please know that you'll always be in my heart.
There's not much more I cn say or do
except to say "I'll always love you".
