Losing My Girl to My Rival Part 4

All that night I had could not get Linda and Kevin out of my head or my balls. I met Tina for breakfast before going up to the office. She told me that Kevin told Linda about the concert and the rest of the weekend.
She was ecstatic but also a little concerned. She told Tina that she was starting to get feelings for Kevin but she still had feelings for me. Tina stopped for a second or so to see my reaction, and she saw by the way I was hiding my "reaction" under the table at the coffee shop, that I was very excited.
Tina said that she is glad I feel that "strongly" because she did her best to undermine my chances with Linda and really boost Kevin's stock in Linda's eyes. Tina said that Martin seems to be too busy for you and Kevin is very willing to make sure you are not without a date almost every night. She told Linda that this concert and weekend will give her the all the facts she needs to choose an eventual mate if she is looking for that.
Linda told Tina that she can see herself marrying either Kevin or Martin. She did say that a big factor is going to be who can provide the best home life for her and a family. Linda told Tina she did not want to seem money grubbing about marriage, but a big factor would be who advances quicker in the company and who doesn't. Tina said that was a good attitude since security is important especially if you want and have children.
Tina told Linda that she should just have fun this coming weekend , enjoy the concert, and make love with the guy who wants desperately to spend a sexy weekend with you. Tina asked her about birth control and she said that Kevin is "clean" and that her period is due literally the next day after they get back from the hotel. Linda said that she "should be safe" and that she really wants to feel Kevin's penis deep inside of her.
Before Linda left Tina's place, she asked her if she ever had to put up a guard so she would not "fall in love" too quickly. Tina answered that she has been in love a few times, but her advice to Linda was to just let your emotions control your feelings and enjoy being courted and pursued by a very sexy guy.
After hearing all this, I decided to invite Kevin out for a drink after work and try to make a friendly overture to him. After 5PM rolled around, we went to this bar at the end of the block. We sat and drank a few beers and talked about "things". Eventually Linda came up and he asked me how I ever was able to date a hottie like her. He told me that she hugged and kissed him and then they fooled around after he told her about the romantic weekend. Knowing his competitive spirit, I pushed the right button.
I asked him if he would like to play some pool, right then. He said sure, but remember I used to beat you every time in college. He said how about playing for a "Franklin" and I told him I was thinking of way higher stakes. He was very interested and I said that the winner would be free to date Linda without fear of any interference from the loser for an entire year.
He said lets really make it interesting and say two years and the loser will "sabotage" his own chances of getting the next major promotion. Both of us knew in our hearts and in our balls that the when the two years were up, Linda would probably not be available any more and more than likely she would already be starting her family.
We both agreed not to tell Linda until an appropriate time in the future about this little wager. We both took another drink and the games began.
