Reflections of a Heart


I looked deep into the lake of love,
With reflections on the past.
The ripples blowing with the winds
Taking me along troughs and peaks
To a state of sheer bliss
And then sunk into oblivion.

My heart so yearns for the winds to recede
That I may see that true reflection of love.
But alas not to be on this plane,
And yet within me is the glimmer of peace
Knowing that I am loved by a presence
That needs no asking...only the knowing.
