******************************* Sex Toys In The Attic *******************************
Her little toys sit there covered with dust
Still sturdy and stanch they stand;
And her handsome soldier gathers rust,
With no one to give him a hand.
Time was when her faithful toys were new,
And boyfriends combed her hair;
And that was the time when our Little Girl Blue
Kissed them and put them there.
"Now, don't you go till I cum," she said,
And don't you make any noise!
Then traveling off to her bridal bed,
She dreamt of pretty toys,
Waiting on shelves where they belong,
Awakened by Little Girl Blue _____
Oh the years are many, the years are long,
But the little toy friends are true!
Ever faithful to Little Girl Blue they stand,
Each in their same old place,
Awaiting the touch of her gentle hand,
The smile of her pretty face_____
And they wonder, as waiting these long years through,
In the dust of her old easy chair,
What has become of Little Girl Blue,
Since she kissed them and put them there.
This poem is a "what if" poem about about a young woman's "toys". It is Inspired and adapted from memory of the classic poem "Little Boy Blue" * by* Eugene Field (1850-1895) and the late night infomercial for adult "toys".
