Her lungs felt like fire as she tore through the pines. Very close steps pounded the ground. Her top strap was grasped, a strong pull back. It ripped as she used all her strenth to break free. Half her top hung over her shorts, flapping in the breeze from running faster then she ever did. The strap trailed behind, bouncing off her ass. Stride for stride, he matched her. Fingers touched her bra clasp, her knees buckled when she pivoted left. He didn't make the turn, a loud thud echoed. She cleared fallen branches that would make a thoroughbred proud. No thundering footsteps behind her made her nevrous. Ignoring the searing pain in her lungs and legs, she ran faster. Trying to put as much distance from him, and get out of the woods. The latter seemed impossible, she was quite lost. A half buried root sent her to her knees. Looking around in a panic, she saw no one. But she did see a dark opening behind a tangle of vines. Limping over, she peered in, it was very dark. She had little choice though. Cautiously, she steped in, small holes ahead provided some light. Small stones turned her feet with every step. She stoped dead at a beam of light that should have provided some comfort. A lantern, its glow barely visible, sat on the ground. She spun around, ready to run till time ended. A hand clamped over her mouth, another around her stomach, holding her tight. She had limped into a trap
