You walk into the room,
my heart races.
Beating wildly at the thought of your touch,
softly against my skin.
Your breath gently caressing my shoulder...
slowly moving up the nape of my neck.
My mind relaxes as your gaze penetrates mine,
melting away all the fears locked up inside.
As my eyes close...
my breath quickens at the scent of your skin.
As you quietly whisper words,
sweet like honey in my ear.
my hands roam your body.
Exploring, rediscovering, everything of you.
My body melts at the urgency of your kiss,
my senses explode into an internal confusion and desire.....
My eyes open, reality takes grip.
Finding nothing but the darkness of the night
and an empty space.
My hand reaches across the cold bed sheet,
realizing it's just a fleeting memory of you.
A smile crosses my face....
as I patiently wait ...
