Raise your hand if you've never told a white lie on Velvet. Maybe your age went down? Maybe your weight went down ? Maybe your marital staus changed ? Maybe your hair color changed?
It's not surprising that I don't see alot of hands out there.
Is it really that important to be totally honest on a fantasy site? Should there be a lie detector test before you join? This is a fantasy site not truth or consequences. If I can't be perfect on velvet where can I be?
I guess if you are already perfect you have no need for white lies but if I lose ten lbs or my bra size just went up a notch who have I hurt? Who really cares?
But if I say I care for you, If I say I need you or want you it better be true. If I say you make me feel incredibly sexy, incredibly cared about or incredibly loved I better be honest............Its honesty about the important things, how you feel about another person, how you treat them that counts.
All this superficial stuff like looks and age seem meanngless compared to the interpersoal relationsips we build. Those need to be built with honesty and integrity the rest is just fantasy and this afterall is a fantasy site.
So for anyone who really cares, I lied! My age is 56 not 46. Will you still talk to me? Wil you still read my stuff? Will you still love me ?
