I want someone that turns my head, making me giddy with joy,
Excited just by hearing their footsteps, their voice, or their key in the door,
Who makes my heart beat faster with expectant anticipation,
Giving my life hope, fulfilling my dreams.
I want someone that will take my hand and drag me into the rain and dance with me,
Not waiting for the storm to pass on by, but dancing in the rain anyway.
Staying up late just to feel my sleeping breath on their neck,
Not wanting to miss a single moment of our love, or loving.
I need someone who will wake me up in the dead of night just to make love to me,
And to drift off again, at last, in each other's arms, content and satisfied.
Who will watch me sleep and then waking me up with butterfly kisses in the morning,
Then make breakfast together, playfully feeding each other.
I want holding me when I need to be held, without thought,
And need wanting me when my needs are real.
I want someone that pulls the car over on the roadside just because they can't wait any longer to have me screaming,
To love unconditionally and return that love.
I want someone to come up behind me and wrap their arms around me when I'm washing dishes,
Someone to live out or lives together loving unconditionally, and returning that love.
To hold my hand, intertwining their fingers with mine because we do, and because we always will,
Sharing our happiness as easily as kissing my tears away.
What I will always want is the love that I need, and deserve.
