kissing cousins - update

I have told the story about my dearest cousin, Sabrina, and her struggle with cancer. I received a lot of messages expressing their concern for Sabrina and I certainly appreciated that. They wanted me to update them
with any information when I received it so here goes.
On Thanksgiving my immediate family gets together to share dinner and give thanks for our many blessings. I certainly have to be thankful since I came so close to death earlier this year. Normally the entire family would be there but this year my brother and his family visited his wife's family in Florida. My oldest neice and her family visited her husband's family in Michigan. Everyone else was there including my younger sister's ex who always atttends this kind of thing even though he's no longer a part of our family, but he is my neice's father. We have learned to accept his presence at these events.
I was telling everyone that I had been thinking about Sabrina and that I had not been able to get in touch with her to find out how she is doing. My step-mother told me that she had run into Sabrina at a beauty salon and that Sabrina looked really good and seemed to feel good too. Maybe the treatments for the cancer were starting to work now. Although I still haven't been able to make direct contact this news makes me feel so much better and gives me hope!
Thanks to each of you that had expressed your concern for Sabrina and I pass this information on to you.
