i know she's out there... i taste the smile in her voice,
she knows my longing...there's no other choice,
wait a minute...did i just awake from an unconscious stupor...this thing called love's suppose to make you stronger, not weaker,
the dawn of awareness, so close at hand,
hollow word's and promises i'll never understand,
oh, what the hell, the sun's shinning in disneyland,
the darkest hour of my soul, is the moment your eyes loose their sparkling glow,
that moment seems to have arrived, lies and deception are all so contrived,
the poets dance, the songwriters sing,
that reflection in the mirror, don't mean a dog-gone thing,
ignorance chasing a dream, to the ends of time and back,
the only saving grace, stands naked inside shadow tracks,
oh, for a moment of peace and rest, from lifes' confusing upside-down mess,
thank god for your arms that are so lovingly outstretched...
