*******************************************

As of March 10, 2010, I submitted my 107th. fantasy, DON'T SEND A BOY, TO DO A MAN'S JOB

Out of them all, I hope you will find one you will enjoy. I thank you for the gift of your time.

As of March 10, 2010, I have over 2100 Votes. To everyone who's expressed their appreciation this way, thanks.

Originally I had high ratings on 90% of my stories but in recent months I have, along with many of my fellow authors, been systematically receiving low marks on old stories. That distorts ratings.

I mention this so you do not overlook stories you might enjoy.

***************************************

Rather than fickle ratings, I rely on votes and comments to energize me. It's bullet proof--plays with my mind less than ratings.

Long ago I learned to compete only with myself. If I try to do it with anyone else, I'm doomed to failure. There will always be those who write better, and those who write worse. To compare myself with others, misleads and distorts.

As I see it, it's "Apples and Oranges" -- one is not better than another, just different. It's whatever your taste buds yearn for on a particular day.

******************************************

V-9 is the only place I have submitted my stories and poems. Of my 107 Fantasies, 95 of them are written as "Babe".

******************************************
Note: 12 of the 107 fantasies have been submitted as "Madison" via my experimental story site.

Btw, so long as we vote only once, and our messages are honest (free from deception) V9 approves for the sake of our creative expression.

I found it a good learning experience, but no longer use the pen name; somehow it felt strange, not me.

*******************************************

How To Stay Happy On V9:

I've found I'm happiest when writing and appreciating what others write here and elsewhere. I help where I can. That's the teacher in me. A friend once told me, "if you want to learn something, teach it."

*******************************************

All of my submissions are from the female perspective. For me this is the most authentic way to write straight erotic romantic fantasies.

*******************************************

"Delivering The Goods!"

A good example of "delivering the goods" is our own V-9 who make this extraordinary site available "Free of Charge". Seldom in this world do we get something free of charge that provides so much without making you feel obligated.

The world is full of "takers" who don't give back. V-9 gives around the clock and asks very little in return.

IMO, we can do our part by submitting stories, participating in the daily poll, purchasing from the commercial sponsors (Eden Fantasys) and making contributions from time to time.

V9 does not push this, but I feel it is only right. Talk is cheap, it what we actually do that counts in the long run. A wise friend of mine once said, "Show me your check-book and I will tell you what you value."

******************************************

The Best Site?

In my opinion V9 the best site available of its kind. I use it exclusively to write and post my stories.

I especially like its "Draft" feature in the "Submit Fantasy" area. This allows me to start and store any number of partial stories. All and all the site is user friendly and displays attractive graphics.

Because the site accepts nearly every type of submission, it allows artistic freedom, as well as freedom from rejection.

Generally speaking, no mean and unkind comments will be found on V9. It is a "tight ship" and generally well run at least 97% of the time. I figure if 3% of the time they don't, it is because of my lack of understanding of what goes on behind the scenes.

V-9 has created a good sense of "community". It appeals to me more than other sites I've seen.

I have found it to be a 1st. class niche in the erotic market place. IMO it is designed for amateur expression in writing, photography, art, and impromptu speech (chat).

It is a workshop of sorts where adults are free to develop creative skills, play and experiment without censorship.

Hats off to the genius of its creator Kenny and his associates. On September 12, 2009 V-9 celebrated
its 1st Anniversary.

*******************************************

Judge Not

"Judge not, lest you be judged" means to me that I do
not have the right to judge another person, only
myself. I can change me, but not others, or would I
want to. It's not always easy, but worthwhile in the
long run, a good reminder to point the finger at myself
not others (when I forget).

I try to refrain from snap judgement, most matters can wait. Given enough time, our answers arrive in a timely fashion and give us direction. Unless there is a dire life threatening matter, "knee jerk decisions" are seldom the best choice despite the urgency our ego incites. Often things are not as they appear.

*******************************************

Although there are times I still question it, I would have to say it is one of the most liberating adventures of my life. It shows me where my hang ups are everyday and where I need to improve.

******************************************

Day by day I am learning to be more tolerant of others
more understanding despite the days I go kicking and screaming over what seems to be "not fair". Like a V-9 friend recently told me:

"If life was fair, I would live next door to you!"

*******************************************

My Purple Bracelet

For over a year now I have worn a purple complaint
free bracelet. If I ever complain about anything
to anyone in the real world, I have to remove my
bracelet and put it on the other wrist. (If you think this is easy, order a bracelet and the book - try it for twenty-one days. LOL. I guarantee it will change your life and make you aware of things you were not before.) For sure, it improves your relationships. Some days I do better than others, but overall it has made me more aware and responsible. Still have a long ways to go.

Note: A year prior to that I created a similar program that consisted of saying a mantra many times a day: "Never criticize anyone, anything, any place or myself." I still use phase #1 in emergency situations.

(I need to write a story about this someday and the
red-neck in a pick-up truck who inspired it. My
best teachers often come in surprising disguises!)

*******************************************

No Complaint Day At Work And More

Both of the above programs are life changing and can improve every relationship in ones life. Some employers and private schools have adopted this and now have one day out of every week that they declare as a "No Complaint Day".

In doing the program it is only what you "speak out-loud" that is counted, but I decided to expand this, as of September 7, 2009 in order to further discipline my mind by applying the "never criticize in any way" rule into all that I write. 80% of the time I have succeeded.

*******************************************

Are My Stories True?

I am often asked if my stories are true. The answer is: "No".

I call my fantasies "Faction" which is a term meaning part fact, part fiction, part erotic fantasy. They are totally made up after I ask myself "what if this had happened" or "what if that had happened".

That said, the BACKGROUNDS of my stories are almost always based upon something in life I have personally experienced in some way, shape or form.

*****************************************

Names Used In Stories

Often primary characters are given the middle initial of "Z" in the event a name chosen could be confused with an actual person of the same name. Company namesare also fictitious with few exceptions unless the information given is already "public knowledge".

****************************************

Derogatory Statements

I try to never say anything derogatory about anyone that would discredit a company or person or even a fictional character. Generally speaking I do not go beyond what history has already recorded about famous people.

Also, I try to always give the benefit of doubt. I do at times provide antidotes regarding historical figures about which I have first hand information or an original source from which to draw.

******************************************

Hot Listing

If I had to do it all over again, I would only add people and never subtract them. Perhaps this is a good
lesson to carry into the real world. I grew up hearing
my dad say: "I'm crossing him off my list!" It was never for more than a few weeks (with one exception which ate at him and harmed him more than it ever did the other person).

So if I ever took you off my list, I apologize. None
of my reasons were ever justified when I look back. I
figure now if I get sick or die and someone sees my computer with avatar pics that offend them, that's their problem and not mine.

Currently I use the "block avatar" function V-9 has so thoughtfully provided. (Somethings are better not staring
you in the face when you are trying to work.)

******************************************

Forgiveness

Forgiving others helps me more than them. And really, what is there to forgive? Everyone does the best they know how to do at any given time, including me.

*******************************************

Your Guardian Angel

To those who take the time to rate and write little notes saying nice things to me or any of the authors here: may your guardian angel richly reward and bless you.

*******************************************

Chatting

Almost always, I would rather NOT chat:

Instead of "chatting" I prefer to exchange messages. If I am doing work on another screen and see the chat link blinking I will try to answer with a message. For any inconveniences I apologize.

My internet service often disconnects at unexpected times or the screen goes out of whack and I cannot read its content. At other times, it will look like I have been on
for days.

I promise I am not a brain in a jar somewhere wired up to V9. Although when I am about to die, perhaps that will be an available option. Lol.

If it looks like I am on "chat" I may not be. Sometimes
I catch messages when I come up for air while I am
working on another screen. If I don't reply right away I may have minimized my task bar and can't see you. Also, there are times I have "left the building" and/or forget to shut off my computer which may give the impression I am on V9 when I am not.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. The
best thing is to simply send me a message. I love to
get them and try to reply to all of them as soon as possible whether that's five minutes, five hours, or
five days.

*******************************************

Please Note With A Sense Of Humor:

1. I love to to write, read, share stories and flirt just a little bit. I stay away from erotic chats, not because I think they are wrong, but for other personal reasons.

2. I am grateful and appreciative of all I receive that makes me feel good. The rest of it I call good also and try to learn from it.

3. I believe that everything is always perfect: either for my enjoyment or my growth, but there are times the "growth" part of that is a hard.

*******************************************************

THREE IDEAS I TRY TO LIVE BY

1. Karma:

The belief that whatever you and I put out in life comes back to us - good and bad - and not necessarily from the same people.

I do believe negative "Karma" can be washed away by the power of brotherly love and true forgiveness. I find it helps me to remember that in reality, there is nothing ever to forgive in the first place. That everyone is innocent. If anyone person knew how to do better at any given time, he or she would.

2. Pass It On:

This idea is centuries old, but more recently comes from the movie "Pass It On" It amounts to this: If someone is happy with a gift from me, I want them to pass it on to someone else, not figure that they owe me.

I say this, but life checks me out and I often find that deep in the corners of my heart I DID expect something back and that is why I feel sad. It is a painful discovery but one that offers growth in my consciousness when I can open my eyes wide enough to see my error in thinking.

3. The Golden Rule.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

The kicker here is, "as you would LIKE to have them do unto you", not what they do.

I love this for many reasons and find it is telling that throughout the world this simple idea continues to survive and be predominate in all world religions. It's easier said then done but good to strive for always. When we are wronged, the ego in us wants to strike back, but we of course should not. It's far better to turn up the love, walk away and look for a peaceful solution. As someone once
said, "When in doubt, do the kindest thing." There have
been times when I failed to do so, but I try to always remember this.

******************************************

Appreciating Creative Ideas

If you are a V9 writer there are many here who will be a friend, even if that is no more than reading, commenting and appreciating your creative ideas.

******************************************

Non-Judgmental Attitudes

The most wonderful thing I have discovered on V9 is the open minded non judgmental attitude. It is an opportunity to express ideas in a safe environment--ideas we may have thought but are reluctant to express and discuss in the real world.

*******************************************

Religion - Sex

Religion? Sex? For me there is no conflict. I consider my spirituality as real as my sexuality. The only thing wrong with sex is the same thing that's wrong with religion: lying, rage, violence, rape, hatred, and taking away free will. Eliminate those things, and I see them both as good and part of living fully.

*******************************************

Four Letter Words

And language? You could have beat me before I would have written a four letter word. Now I can write them
and not feel bad about doing so.

*******************************************

Unforgettable Stories - Forgettable Stories

Some fantasies here are unforgettable. Truly great stories sometimes a unique one appears. Other tales are for the moment one night stands erotica providing something of value if no more than a "quickie". In my opinion most of it is good and appears to fulfill a human need to share, explore, venture forth, and escape to another world.

I may be wrong but for now anyway, that's how I see it. I try to write both kinds, seldom do any of them come easy. I would guess this is true for everyone.

*******************************************

No Such Thing As A Good Writer

An old saying I try to remember when I am discouraged:

"There is no such thing as a good writer, only a good re-writer."

*******************************************

Apples & Oranges?

If you like my stories or anyone's story on V-9 leave a comment and/or rating. Many times it is just a matter of "Apples and Oranges" one story is not better than another just different.

One day our taste buds desire apples, another, oranges. A five rating is the highest rating you can give and it goes down hill from there.

Generally speaking, If a particular story is not my cup of tea I move on to one that is more to my liking. Different strokes for different folks.

I do find that after 10 months, stories that at one time I would not have wanted to admit I liked, I have learned to appreciate it.

*******************************************

Famous Writers of Erotica

"The Diary Of Anais Nin" he also indroduced to me.
I thought perhaps I would relate to her story better,
but although it isn't harsh like Miler's, it does not touch me on a deeper level. Probably in her day the thoughts she shared were new and fresh. I may someday feel differently after I explore one of her novels.

What I find particularly interesting is how the work of Henry Miller and Anais Nin influenced erotic writing and legal precedent. That alone makes them worth noting. We tend to take freedom of speech for granted but it is an assumption better not made.

As for ground breaking erotica, my knowledgable V-9 non-fiction consultant says that title should probably go to DH Lawrence, author of Sons and Lovers and Lady Chatterly's Lover (banned in the US briefly.)

******************************************
